Celebrating Nouveau Day with a Purpose
Join us at Portland Wine Company on Saturday, Nov. 23rd, for a special release party as we celebrate Nouveau Day with our latest creation, GLOU-VEAU! This year’s edition is a true "glou glou" wine, a blend designed for easy drinking, lively flavors, and a whole lot of fun.

We'll also offer a few wines from our favorite local producers as well as some tasty food specials!

This event also holds special meaning for us, as we’ll be donating 20% of the profits to Breast Cancer Awareness in honor of Angie’s first year in remission. Let’s raise a glass together to celebrate community, resilience, and great wine!

Pouring Around Town + Nouveau Day Events

We’re thrilled to bring our wines to three exciting events this month. 

On Thursday, Nov. 14th, 6-8 pm, join us at the Irvington Club Wine Tasting Event, a seasonal favorite. We’ll be pouring samples of our Love & Squalor Pinot Noir, Gamay Noir, Sauvignon Blanc, and Dry Riesling from the Willamette Valley—perfect for cozy fall evenings and gatherings.

The following week, we’re celebrating the season’s new wine releases at two events on Thursday, November 21, aka Beaujolais Nouveau Day!

  • From 5:30-8:30 pm, we’re heading to Nouveau Fête 2024 at the Wine Yard, where we'll be pouring our *super secret limited edition Nouveau wine,* as well as our crowd favorite Gamay Noir. Get $5 off when you buy your ticket in advance.

  • From 6-8 pm, we’ll also be pouring our limited edition Nouveau as part of the Chemeketa Nouveau Event at the Northwest Wine Studies Center in Salem. Taste Nouveau wines from Oregon and France along with food pairings while enjoying some live jazz.

Beaujolais Nouveau Festival to CELEBRATE GAMAY NOIR

Do you love all the food, drinks, and parties?!? Well, so do we. THURSDAY NOV. 21st, is Beaujolais Nouveau day in France and to celebrate the fantastic grape that it is made of — GAMAY NOIR — we will be all over town pouring our beloved GAMAY. We have a special bottling of Love & Squalor Nouveau Gamay, we’ll be pouring and selling!

SO! Party like the French with Matt, who will be pouring at the party at St. Jacks (more on this below) and Angie will be at the party at SE WINE COLLECTIVE. Our tasting room will also be open 4-7pm as usual and Gamay will be flowing there, too.

To celebrate like our friends in the Beaujolais in France, and all over the world, our Nouveau party returns to the Collective featuring Nouveau wines from friends near and far. The Fete de Nouveau tasting at Southeast Wine Collective is our way to revel in the completion of the recent harvest by sipping away and catching up with our friends. The Nouveau tasting is complimentary, but we will only have a limited supply of each wine, so this is a first come, first serve event! We will be selling the wines you taste here!

Participating wineries: Chemeketa Wine Studies, Division, Fausse Piste, Grape Ink Wines, Underwood, St. Reginald, Scenic Valley, AND Love and Squalor
