THE FIRST RESERVE RELEASE
Hope this quick email finds you all well. We are sweeping up from our biggest harvest yet and looking forward to a day off. It was a perfect season, and the new young wines are of exceptional quality.
While the baby Pinots are going to rest in their little oak barrel beds, we wanted to tell you about the latest release from our reserve lineup - the 2016 Pinot Noir Reserve (FKA Antsy Pants). OK, the madras patchwork pants are still hanging on the label, but we outgrew the cheeky name. This limited 75-case bottling is a blended barrel selection from Vista Hills Vineyard in the Dundee Hills and Temperance Hill Vineyard in the Eola Hills. These are both top-notch sites that never disappoint. (note: if you liked our Single Vineyard Temperance 2016 this is sure to be tuned to your palate)
CLUB PICK UP PARTY
Save The Date - 'Friends With Benefits' members, November 12th 4-8pm is the wine club pickup party at the winery. We've missed seeing you all, and while we are still adhering to safety protocols, we look forward to welcoming you inside for a super special sip and a snack. We want to assure you that there is zero supply-chain disruption of fine wines for your table here at Love & Squalor HQ. However we are down to the last two cases of the quirky favorite A Frayed Knot - Rose of Gewürztraminer (don't worry, we are keeping that cheeky name forever). This orange wine was released in July and just flew out the door. Grab a couple of bottles for your holiday entertaining.
